What a great experience! We were promptly greeted by the hostess and things just soared from there. Our waiter, Anthony, had a magnetic personality and was extremely attentive. He made suggestions and recommendations to enhance our selections. The crab cake was one of the best I've had. Definitely a pleasant surprise to find such quality at a "diner". This place has elevated diner food. If you are looking for fresh food in a diner atmosphere look no further, Silver Diner is your place!

This is more a mix of bar and diner, but the service and consistency of food makes it well worth a stop. The wings are dry and overpriced. The milkshakes are thick and amazing. Stick to the diner basics and you'll get exactly what you want! Place was clean and memorably positive waitstaff even on a slow late frigid evening. Worth walking further down the harbor to get to!

Another great meal at Silver Diner in February '25. Again, I got the American Breakfast - two perfectly cooked eggs with potatoes and sausage patties and a crispy biscuit to scoop up the runny yolks. Always my favorite go-to! We also got the chicken piccata and a steak with mashed potatoes for grandma. So thankful that Silver Diner is here at National Harbor - the one place where the diner variety on the menu means everyone can get what they want. Definitely coming back again!

Really good breakfast options and very fast service! I had the yogurt parfait and it was great. The staff were also super quick and attentive. I definitely recommend this diner to those traveling to National harbor!

It was nice and you get a lot of food for the money. My only issue was pancakes on the same plate as the rest of the food. I had so many needs of items I needed but few time to ask for errthing. By the time my server came back for me to ask for a separate plate, I had already may space on my plate. Other than that I would definitely return and share it with a friend. I wanted to return for happy hour, I enjoy the atmosphere in the bar area but it's National Harbor and MGM with to much to do.

One thing that heals the soul is a simple, classic, and filling breakfast plate from an American diner. Usually a go-to choice after a drunken night out but also the perfect choice for fuel during a quick DC weekend visit and before a long day supporting a walk for a good cause. Came around 7am and it was already pretty busy with working folks grabbing their fuel for the morning. Few tables occupied and fairly calm and quiet for the breakfast rush. Silver Diner is a classic and must go at the National Harbor. 100/10 would recommend, the eggs were fresh, potato well seasoned, meat choice well grilled and the sourdough toast was the perfect pairing. To say we cleaned our plates is an understatement :)

After a long conference day at Podcast Movement, my husband and I enjoyed a relaxing dinner at Silver Diner and a spin on the Capital Wheel. It was like a workweek date night thing, where we left the confines of our hotel digs and went out (but were still in bed by 10pm lol). My husband is vegetarian and tries to eat healthy, so the Silver Diner menu offered a variety of options for him. That night, I also went vegetarian so we could share and get a sampling of more dishes. The ingredients are fresh - the restaurant abides by the farm-to-table ethos and local sourcing.
